RISE & BEND

An autumn online program · by Danaerial

A live series to build the strength, the timing and the trust that turn force into flow.

Your press to handstand, your macacos and your arching acrobatic movements. Not with more force or more flexibility, but by finally understanding how your body was meant to move

Let me tell you why I created this

3:33 minutes with me, before we begin.

"I've seen the same mistakes for years..."

I've spent months building this program after watching so many of my students hit the same walls. Chasing the press with sheer force. Bending in ways that never quite felt safe. Following tutorials that skip the details that actually matter.

So here's what we'll do together: rebuild the way you press and the way you use your backbends for arch acrobatics, not with more flexibility, but with the strength, timing and awareness that make movement feel like flow instead of force.

What we will move through

Two chapters, twelve live sessions.

Chapter I, Pike & Press

The real path to the press to handstand with the pole. Strength, control and suspension.

Oct 6

The Foundations, Pike & Compression

We awaken compression strength, the deep, almost never trained connection between thigh and torso. I'll share my favourite drills, the exact ones that made my pikes feel effortless.

Oct 15

Pole Clocks, Finding Control

Clocks aren't just arm strength, they're scapular stability, and also compression and pike. Today we learn to move the shoulder blades so the shoulder becomes a base, not a weak point.

Oct 22

Inverse Pole Clocks, The Eccentric Secret

We train eccentric control, lowering slowly and with command. Learning to come down is learning to go up.

Oct 29

Building the Press, The Tilt Nobody Teaches

The press doesn't begin by arching your back, it starts with the pelvis in posterior tilt. We train the shift that separates those who get it from those who struggle for years.

Nov 5

Press to Handstand, First Attempts

Your first press to handstand with the pole as your ally. Every attempt is information, not failure.

Nov 12

Press to Handstand, Putting It Together

We close the block with suspension and control, not momentum. When you stop forcing the lift and trust the strength you've built, the press carries you.

Chapter II, Backbending Flow

Learning to move through extension with control, using the mobility you have together with momentum in your favour. It's not magic, it's physics.

Nov 19

Safe Extension, Where It Really Comes From

We explore how a full, safe extension can spread through the whole spine, giving the thoracic area the mobility it often forgets it has, so the movement feels open instead of pinched.

Nov 26

Control & The Slow Descent

We build the eccentric strength that turns a harsh fall into a soft, safe, beautiful movement.

Dec 3

ReversĂŁo, Capoeira Meets Pole

We step into the reversĂŁo, broken down phase by phase. If it's not working, it's probably not a lack of flexibility, it's a lack of core strength and the timing to move through the extension with control.

Dec 10

Macaco, Capoeira Meets Flow

We bring capoeira to the pole with the macaco. Learning to make inversions look free, not forced, with rhythm and lightness instead of tension.

Dec 17

Paloma / Front Macaco, Trusting the Fall

We take the paloma apart movement by movement, the shift of weight, the moment you let go of the floor. It isn't a leap of faith, it's controlled sequencing. Once the timing is yours, it stops feeling like falling and starts feeling like flow.

Dec 22

Integration, Closing the Flow

We close the term weaving all the extensions into small flows. After weeks of building the foundations, now we finally learn your dream movements. Flow isn't doing shapes back to back, it's letting one melt naturally into the next. See you on the flow.

I met Dani almost by chance, a few years ago and from the first lesson with him it was clear to me that passion and love for this sport are his main driving force and being next to him means being immediately infected! He showed me a side of pole that I didn't know and which today has captivated me, a continuous three-way dance made of ground, height and body. He is an extraordinary teacher, with incredible skills and able to explain and break down even the most difficult of movements! I love his classes because they are hard, but with the right amount of fun, always, and even if sometimes you think you can't do it, he always shows you that it's not true.

@ilianayelpole

With this platform, Dani has managed to systematize her style of pole in an organized, structured, and easy to understand way, making it much easier to teach. The platform contains a wealth of valuable information and is very intuitive and user-friendly. Dani’s videos gradually build in difficulty, with a clear and detailed explanation of each trick or transition, making them easy to follow. It will be a great tool for anyone who wants to get into Flow and explore this way of moving the body with pole. You can tell she has put structure, technical knowledge, and, of course, a whole lot of heart into it!

@oreanaspena

My first class with Dan was during my pole instructor certification (around 2015, I think), and I’ve been able to watch his evolution ever since, both as an athlete and as an instructor.

He has developed a unique technique and, most importantly, he knows how to teach it. Being a great athlete doesn’t necessarily make you a great teacher, but Dan truly has both qualities.

He’s an athlete, an artist, and an amazing teacher. His classes are filled with love and empathy, and he has a very special way of explaining things that makes you feel part of the group. I really value that, because pole classes and workshops can sometimes feel quite lonely when you don’t know anyone there.

So, if you’re considering taking his class, I highly recommend it. You’ll learn a lot, but you’ll also leave feeling inspired, supported, and really happy with your results.

You don't arrive at stillness. You surrender into it.

See you on the flow,

Dani.
